The newest trailer for Magic Mike XXL dropped, as did panties nationwide. This sexy sequel is headed to theaters on July 1st, so for now, you’ll have to settle for a tease.

From what’s in the trailer, this movie looks like it’s gonna be high-energy and probably hilarious. Also, likely full of ripped dudes and stuff.

Best part for fans of staring at jacked guys gyrating? These dudes have probably been working out nonstop between the first film and this sequel, so they’re totally XXL. (Assuming that’s the joke, unless their wieners somehow grew between films or something and if so, how’d they do it? I’m asking for a friend.)

The official synopsis for the movie reads:

“Picking up the story three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, “Magic Mike XXL” finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them. On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.“

So it’s a male-stripper road trip movie. Let’s just hope it’s not like all those other male-stripper road trip movies, am I right?

A bunch of jacked, stripper dudes driving together down to Myrtle Beach… sounds like a real cumming of age story. Sorry.
